This week’s On the Mones is a little different.
After a deeply disappointing week for Sydney Swans supporters, I wanted to talk about what happens when a club you’ve believed in, and whose values you thought reflected your own, lets you down.
I’ve always bought into the idea that the Swans had a different kind of culture: one that respected women, welcomed the queer community and stood for something beyond football. So the recent scandal has felt surprisingly personal.
But I also don’t want the actions of a few people to define an entire club. I believe in consequences, but I also believe in second chances.
And then something quite extraordinary happened: a record crowd turned up at the SCG to watch the Swans women play and to keep supporting the wider club.
Did the women’s team somehow give supporters permission to feel proud again? Did they, in some sense, “save” the men’s team, or is that completely the wrong way to think about it?
After my introduction, we head to the Dinnertime table to talk it all through, along with Audrey smashing her longest run yet, a 21st at the Sydney Aquarium, Obi becoming qualified to care for injured possums, why sugar gliders smell so bad, and another fairly disastrous attempt at the Sydney Morning Herald Good Weekend Quiz.
You're listening to On the Moans, where we have conversations about hormones, midlife, and the moments that make us wonder Is it just me? I'm Kate. I'm a 48-year-old pharmacist and newly minted perimenopausal oversharer. This is where we talk openly about the changes we aren't prepared for, so we never have to feel alone in them again. I acknowledge the Camaragle people of the Eora Nation, the traditional custodians of the land which I am recording today. I pay my respects to elders past and present, and I extend that respect to all Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples listening. Always was, always will be, Aboriginal land. This episode is going to be a little bit different. I'm actually bringing you part of our most recent dinner time episode because we ended up having a conversation around the dinner table that I've been thinking about ever since. And it was about the Sydney Swans. So we are a Swans family. We have a membership, we go to the games, we deeply care about the club, and I think what has surprised me most about this past week is just how genuinely disappointed we've all felt. Actually, maybe disappointed isn't quite quite enough. We felt betrayed. Because I think the fact that we had bought into the idea that this one was a hell of a different club with a really strong culture. I called that genuinely women. I called that being up for the code we needed. We really like being associated with that. We like being with our club, they're owl-boy. And I know that we're in believing the mythology of any organization. We don't want a collection of a small number of people to completely change the way we feel about everybody else. They're our family. Under the shadow of something that I had absolutely nothing to do with. And they won. And I love that. I love saying that people are essentially saying, We're still here. Not what happened in the matter. Not everything needs to be forgiven, but the club is bigger than the people who have disappointed us. And it made me wonder about something. The women's game in some strange way gives one supporters a reason to feel good about their club again. Initially I thought, have the women saved the men. But the more I think about that, the less comfortable I am with it. Because they shouldn't have to. Women shouldn't be handed the job of restoring the reputation of a men's game after something they had nothing to do with. And this wasn't some clever piece of crisis management where somebody suddenly thought, quick, bring out the women. The double header was already played, and the women were already going to play at the SEG. What changed was what that game came to mean. Maybe they didn't save the men of the game. Maybe they reminded everyone that the second ones are not just the men of the game. I think that's the difference. I also believe in second chances. That doesn't mean there shouldn't be consequences. It doesn't mean pretending something wasn't serious, and it certainly doesn't mean that the people affected by somebody else's behavior owe them any forgiveness. But I don't particularly want to live in a world where the worst thing somebody does automatically becomes the only thing we're ever allowed to know about them. So I'm still working out exactly how I feel about all of this, and conveniently, I have a family who are more than happy to work it out with me in a video. Which is what you're about to hear. We also had quite a lovely weekend around all of that. Audrey and I went for a long run on Sunday, her longest run so far, and she absolutely finished it. We went to a 21st birthday celebration at the Sydney Aquarium with some very dear old friends. Why do sugar gliders smell so bad? And then, as usual, we attempted the Sydney Morning Herald Good Weekend quiz badly. So this week on the moons is coming to you from our dinner table. Welcome back to dinner time. Yeah, she was goaded. Well, if that means does that mean she did really well? Yeah. Is that what that means?
SPEAKER_04Mum said that you're goaded on the source. Welcome back, my bodies. That's quote for podcast hoddies. Podcast hoddies. Mm-hmm. My bodies.
SPEAKER_05Yeah, so how do you have an 21st at the aquarium? You booked the aquarium. Yeah.
SPEAKER_03Was there anybody else there?
SPEAKER_05Mm-mm.
SPEAKER_03No, no, it was completely just us. And the jellies?
SPEAKER_04And were there people in in like other sections? No.
SPEAKER_03No.
SPEAKER_04There's no No, because it's closed.
SPEAKER_05It's yeah, it's closed. So there's no um it's off for hours. Yeah. Oh, okay. You know the window where you look in and you see the I've been there recently. Yeah, so you know the window where you look in and you see the sea?
unknownYeah.
SPEAKER_02The rays and the sharks and things. That's where you sit.
SPEAKER_03It's amazing.
SPEAKER_02It was fabulous. Great speeches. Yeah, great speeches. Great speech.
SPEAKER_05Um, excuse me, sir. Are you weeing?
unknownYeah.
SPEAKER_04Butthole. Don't know what was saying that she was doing that at her house as well.
SPEAKER_01Weing on the couch.
SPEAKER_04Really?
SPEAKER_05Does she have did she give you any clues as to how to She went, I've got no fucking clue.
SPEAKER_02Okay, well that's not helpful. Thanks, Donna. Yeah.
SPEAKER_03Um, yeah. I just wanted to go. You could train. So he's had an overnight stay.
SPEAKER_06We've given like no attempt. You can't complain that he's untrainable. We haven't we haven't tried training.
SPEAKER_02Wow, poor guy's been holding on to that way all day.
SPEAKER_03Wow.
SPEAKER_06No, he's not.
SPEAKER_02No, he's not.
SPEAKER_03No, he's not. He's still staring off into the distance.
SPEAKER_04But see, sir, you just whiz that and you lay down in the exact same spot.
SPEAKER_02Yeah, but it's okay because he doesn't wear nappy. Here you go. Well I'm just gonna say, I'm gonna change topic completely and say, Odgie's not a true fan, but we're watching the football. And at the end they basically all cried. Well Errol did.
SPEAKER_03Errol did? Callum did. Callum did. Often they wanted the support from the crown, which was good.
SPEAKER_02I guess also it's finals now. Yeah, but they were in the finals already. Yeah. A record number came to watch the women play. 16 bands. 18. 16 bands. The crying. How much crying? Ah! Or Errol was pretty.
unknownYeah.
SPEAKER_02Like Errol was, I'm gonna say, on the verge of sobbing.
SPEAKER_03Errol had just run like 20 kilometers and he's really carrying understanding.
SPEAKER_04Oh uh Kyle score a goal. New boy Kyle. New boy Kyle. It's Kyle.
SPEAKER_03New boy. I think like uh and winger.
SPEAKER_06Is his last name Kyle?
SPEAKER_04Is he Harry?
unknownNo.
SPEAKER_04He's replacing the lucid. He's nicknames the um the The Mumba. Oh no, that's what he could be bright.
SPEAKER_06What's his name? I mean, no no no, what's his number?
SPEAKER_04I don't know, bro. He looks like he he looks like Charlie Kernot. He does. A little bit. A bit like Charlie.
SPEAKER_03With the hair. Yeah. Oh man.
SPEAKER_06Anyway, Kick D's first. No idea who this person is.
SPEAKER_02Kick D's first. Kick his first goal around the side, around the feet. It was an amazing goal, actually. And it was TikTok.
SPEAKER_06The entire team, Hammond. Charlie Kono is such a hog. Was he the guy that was filling in for Brundy?
SPEAKER_02No, Grundy was there. Grundy was there around. No, other one Grundy was also there.
SPEAKER_06What's the other one, Gundy?
SPEAKER_02I can't remember, but also very good. Can you you need to eat, please? You had a big tourman or you don't play for you know you don't watch for a week, the entire team is different. You're right, Doug, that was a lot of soup. That was young, actually. I didn't say the matchup.
SPEAKER_04Also hyping up this guy quite a bit.
SPEAKER_02How do we um this fan? How do we write the match? Yeah, femme makes mash.
unknownOh my gosh.
SPEAKER_06Because he's very good. How are we writing feminic mash, please? There's some lunch, but it's very this one, yeah. Feminine Errol. He's like a little younger than Errol. He's like half happily.
SPEAKER_02He was good, actually. Yeah. He I didn't see him get a goal. I saw him have some attempts though.
SPEAKER_03There were all more of an attempt.
SPEAKER_05That little boy has had a big day. He came he came down and he went to his chair, and that that black bag was on his chair, and he was like, oh, really had a big day. I really just want to sleep in my chair.
SPEAKER_04Did did Tom Papley only play for the swans?
SPEAKER_05Yeah.
SPEAKER_04Might be, yeah. He was a plumber. He's awesome.
SPEAKER_02Was he a plumber? Yeah.
SPEAKER_04Apparently the boys are still ava uh available for a brown low.
SPEAKER_02What?
SPEAKER_04I think I'll revoke that, but. How does that work? Apparently.
SPEAKER_02And when you say the boys, you mean the five.
SPEAKER_04Heenie. They're still brown low. Contenders. Yeah. Ooh.
SPEAKER_06No, they won't be. You can't get a brown low if you get suspended.
SPEAKER_04Yeah. Yeah, that's true. Yeah, yeah, yeah. But apparently, like from what he's been through that before. From what from from what the news has been saying.
SPEAKER_06Simple man. I saw a video of his um.
SPEAKER_02His fiance's in Noosa.
SPEAKER_04I saw a I saw an article about his fiancee not leaving him.
SPEAKER_06Oh I well, actually, I don't think that's true because she was in Noosa with her covering off and she was crying on the phone.
SPEAKER_02Aww. Well she's had a big week. What video did you watch? And also, she's she has had a big week.
SPEAKER_06And according to Santa Sauce, all their girlfriends have left them.
SPEAKER_02That's right. That's very good.
SPEAKER_04Aryan Santa Sauce. Come to me.
SPEAKER_06Yeah.
SPEAKER_04They're all so beautiful. Yeah. It's ridiculous. Yeah. It's ridiculous. Have you seen their girlfriends?
SPEAKER_05Yeah, I've seen it. Terribly terribly, terribly sad. Sad for them.
SPEAKER_04They're all probably influences anyway.
SPEAKER_05And we had a great run. We went down the Royal. We went to Oddford. Yeah, Janelle texts me. Uh, what's your name? Audsaurus? Audsaurus. Oh, she said she was thinking. Oh, she said, she said I was thinking about Audrey this week and all the young women and how betrayed they must feel. And then she said, because I because I was like, oh, I was worried about what we might do on the day, you know, in case they get into the grand final, but it seems that they've taken care of that for us. Although they did just win.
SPEAKER_02So hard to say.
SPEAKER_05Well I think we should be Brisbane. It's hard it's it's a bit hard though to be. I mean, they were good against North Melbourne. They've got to be good against Gawthorne.
SPEAKER_03Well good against. No, it might be Brisbane. Brisbane's outcrypto. Again. Brisbane is outcrypton.
SPEAKER_02We've lost to both Brisbane and Brisbane.
SPEAKER_06I think we've lost to everybody at the MCG. You can't go out this year.
SPEAKER_03Those guys are.
SPEAKER_06And we've lost, we've lost three games, I think. One of them was Hawthorne, one of them was Brisbane.
SPEAKER_05Porus, please, just have one thing.
SPEAKER_03Bring them over. Very heavy and very strong.
unknownGuys.
SPEAKER_02Yeah, right.
SPEAKER_04And and all of our team now seem to be.
SPEAKER_06It's fine though because if we lose against them, we still get another turn.
SPEAKER_04Dude, and then apparently that X-Swanse player was in the room as well. Dude, where was our invite, honestly? I feel like everyone's there.
SPEAKER_02I was asleep. Anyway, we had a great run. We ran for four hours.
SPEAKER_03Wouldsy broke the fire at the end.
SPEAKER_05Would she basically got to two and a half kilometres from the end and just went, this? I am over this shit. I'm just gonna send it. No, I didn't have that attitude though.
SPEAKER_06Did you not? What was your attitude? I didn't know what you were attitude.
SPEAKER_05All I could do was see the back of you.
SPEAKER_06I had that attitude, but I wasn't like giving you attitude.
SPEAKER_05No, you did not give me attitude. Neither did you give me the time of day.
SPEAKER_03What did you think of? Well, it's like two kilometres. What did you think of, burning palms?
SPEAKER_05Dave, we can't hear you if you sit over there. You gotta come and see him.
SPEAKER_03Burning palms.
SPEAKER_05I don't think Obi. Obi doesn't run. He um performatively runs insofar as that he's gotta pull out 50 kilometres. You forget how tired you get.
SPEAKER_03No, I actually just don't believe it's that hard. And those are like ease um from Tambarumba and turning up again as well.
SPEAKER_04They'll see me succeed this time.
unknownOh my god.
SPEAKER_05He succeeded last time. You were fine last time. Oh no, that's right. You winched about your testicles last time. Yeah.
SPEAKER_06Wasn't the last time they saw him when he pulled up?
SPEAKER_05No. Oh yeah, at Tumbra at Tumbar Karawira. He's done this exact run before though, and he came in whimpering like a child because his testicles were giving him pain. It's alright.
SPEAKER_03Yeah, anti-slick. But when you spray an anti-slick at the toppas, wow, that stayed there for years. I know. It stays on the throtum for years. Or a few minutes.
SPEAKER_07Wow.
SPEAKER_03Yeah, that's crazy.
SPEAKER_05It's not really anti-slick, is it? It's uh it's slick.
SPEAKER_02Do you guys grow up Mount Kill Your Nobelist? We go up Kill Yourself and Obelisk, yes. R uh I would say halfway through, maybe towards the end. I can't remember.
SPEAKER_04I totally can't remember. But it's just like a mountain.
SPEAKER_05Oh, you spend a bit of time getting up there. Like you spend two kilometres? No, you spend a bit of time getting up there and then the last bit, the last bit's like a the last bit's not very long, but it's very steep, and they've helpfully put a whole lot of rocks there. So it's like trying to climb on um.
SPEAKER_06Is there no stairs?
SPEAKER_05No stairs, so it's like trying to climb on um your roller skates, isn't it?
SPEAKER_03And they have um is that the one where they have the supply and at the at the bottom of that side?
SPEAKER_04But then but then it's funny because it because it because you get to the top and there's like a car park and there's like a bunch of like Chinese people taking selfies.
SPEAKER_05But then there's also an aid station. There's an aid station at the top of the mountain.
SPEAKER_04There's one before the mountain.
SPEAKER_02Bell or no, there's an aid station at the top of the mountain. Yeah.
SPEAKER_04No, there's not.
SPEAKER_02Yeah.
SPEAKER_04No, there's one below. No, there's a lot of things.
SPEAKER_03Donna's just below, like 50 metres off. Yeah.
SPEAKER_05Is that all you're gonna eat?
SPEAKER_06Oh my god.
SPEAKER_04We've eaten a lot today. Donna was telling me that um she had two alpacas one time and a fox got in and killed her alpacas. I was like, I was like, are you serious? A fox killed your alpacas, and she was like, yeah.
SPEAKER_03How big was the fox? How big is the alpaca?
SPEAKER_04Uh apparently though, she said that she was at in the middle of the night, she had the alpaca scream. Oh. And she went down, and there was this fox like having a go at its jugular. Um, and then Donna and her husband were like beating the shit out of this fox while it was just like like latched onto the jugular of this like um alpaca after it just killed the other one.
SPEAKER_07Oh.
SPEAKER_04And then they were beating it up, and then it just like ran away, and then I don't think it ever came back. And she was like, she she she was like, we must have killed it after that because the amount of kicks to its stomach and head and stuff, it must have just been on adrenaline.
SPEAKER_02Gosh.
SPEAKER_04Um she was like, we we got a vet over, did it all up, it was perfect. Once it like the last stitch went in, heart attack died.
SPEAKER_02Oh the alpaca.
SPEAKER_04Oh just lots that actually.
SPEAKER_02Was that done?
SPEAKER_06Nah, I think they can all shredded. Oh no. It's very trouble, Doug.
SPEAKER_04Doug does do alpacas, though. Doug says that alpacas suck. He's like, alpacas and lamas suck. Yeah, he's like, they spit, they kick, and they smell like shit.
SPEAKER_01Oh no, but they're so funny looking.
SPEAKER_04Yeah, I was like, I was like, no way alpacas smells bad, and he's like, Yeah, they smell like shit. Yeah, of course they do. Look at them.
SPEAKER_06How do they smell like shit? They only smell like shit if they're into shitty emo.
SPEAKER_04No, something should smell. Like apparently sugar gliders, my course, in my course today, sugar gliders smell like buns. The dog smells.
SPEAKER_06Why didn't you need to know that?
SPEAKER_04Well, I don't know. Well, they have a lot of different so we're doing brush tail possums, ringtail possums. What are the other kind? Shh feather tail glider. Oh glider, squirrel glider. Oh. Lots of different kinds in. Let's have gliders. The feather tail gliders weigh 10 to 15 grams.
SPEAKER_02Yeah, yeah.
SPEAKER_04Like they're like that big.
SPEAKER_05Yeah.
SPEAKER_03Yeah.
SPEAKER_04Um sugar gliders weigh like 100 grams. Yeah.
SPEAKER_03How do they um are they are there um gliders in Sydney?
SPEAKER_04Yeah. Yeah.
SPEAKER_03Really? You never see one.
SPEAKER_04If you went out in the middle of the night and you weren't like walking around tree hollowers, you'd probably see one. Oh, let's do that. And they bark.
SPEAKER_02Oh, do they?
SPEAKER_04Yeah, that's really cute. Yeah, that's cute.
SPEAKER_02That's really, really cute.
SPEAKER_04Yeah.
SPEAKER_03Um we've got to go.
SPEAKER_04Well, apparently, actually, apparently, if you're walking around and you see a gum tree and it's got like all these scratches on it and there's like tree sap flying from it, it's a sugar glider scratching the tree and then taking the sap, yeah.
SPEAKER_05No way. So are you not qualified to look after injured wildlife?
SPEAKER_04Yeah. Cool, man. Baby possums and sugar gliders.
SPEAKER_06Talk to this guy who saw a brown snake on the course.
SPEAKER_03Yeah. Obi. You said he did a night run a couple of months ago. Where and there was a three-meter brown snake.
SPEAKER_02Black as the ace of spades.
SPEAKER_03He just said it was so huge he had to bat he just. He actually had to run back. He couldn't do and he was pretty game, like he didn't look like a cat.
SPEAKER_06No, he did not fuck around.
SPEAKER_03Yeah.
SPEAKER_02He it wouldn't let him pass. He had to run all the way back the way he came.
SPEAKER_04I reckon you just like tap it with a stick and it says it was I think he definitely tried. He said it was super aggressive.
SPEAKER_06This man definitely tried. This man tried everything. And he's got his he's got his poles.
SPEAKER_02He had poles, yeah, that's true. Oh, cool.
SPEAKER_06I had a video idea when you're on a run. Oh, yeah. You have to go to the rock. Just because we ran on the beach a little bit, noise.
SPEAKER_05We ran past some rock poles, and Aussie was like, this could be POV. You're on a training run, but you get distracted by the rock poles.
SPEAKER_03Yeah. Oh man. Dun dun dun dun dun dun dun.
SPEAKER_04Is that the song you use?
SPEAKER_07Yeah.
SPEAKER_04Literally like a hundred percent success rate on that.
SPEAKER_02That is so true. You have had a lot of success with that song.
SPEAKER_05Pharrell.
SPEAKER_02He's the sponsor.
SPEAKER_05Oh, is that Pharrell? So he the little boy he so he he assimilated to Donna said he just thought he was a dog.
SPEAKER_03Yeah, I was just don't mean anything. Oh, just going in amongst the dogs.
SPEAKER_02Yeah. Does follow the dogs around a bit. Oh, she's so many dogs. She has so many everything.
SPEAKER_0413. Oh wow, 13 dogs.
SPEAKER_05Yeah.
SPEAKER_04They're all like rescues.
SPEAKER_05Oh. Is he nebulous? He's nebulous. Wow.
SPEAKER_06Oh, I love a great dane.
SPEAKER_04I love the video, but it's actually so glitchy.
SPEAKER_05Oh. She's very sweet though.
SPEAKER_06That grey dane is so cute.
SPEAKER_05In the I've eaten too much food and had a movical kind of way.
SPEAKER_06And said meat look.
SPEAKER_04Oh, okay. Cool. I was gonna give her a feed.
SPEAKER_02She's so asleep.
SPEAKER_04I don't think so.
SPEAKER_02No.
SPEAKER_04He's fine. Number one!
SPEAKER_02No, don't number name.
SPEAKER_06He does kinda.
SPEAKER_04Got no thoughts. That was kinda, yeah.
SPEAKER_06Yeah.
SPEAKER_04Like scenarios, you always say he kind of goes.
SPEAKER_06Yeah, he looks at you. But then But you said he had good manners.
SPEAKER_04Oh really?
SPEAKER_05Isn't that what you said?
unknownYeah.
SPEAKER_05Our baby's got good manners.
SPEAKER_04He said that he was just like really, really like kind and like positive. It's like a berry, like he just wasn't he just wasn't like rude to other animals or like noisy or like destructive.
SPEAKER_06Yeah, he isn't. Oh, he's a good boy. Yeah, she said he was very good.
SPEAKER_04She actually said she was like, um, she was like, oh, I might ask.
SPEAKER_06Oh antagonise.
SPEAKER_04Dad, I know, I know. Well she was like, if he doesn't get accepted, he was already teary when Karen Callum Mills was teary. Were you actually?
SPEAKER_05Callum Mills. Callum Mills got teary. Are you joking?
SPEAKER_06I love Callum Mills.
SPEAKER_04Yeah. Hello, baby.
SPEAKER_06Now all the all the teams are like vulturing over our people.
SPEAKER_03Oh, there was some players.
SPEAKER_06Oh, he's a team. Yeah. They already talked two of our best players.
SPEAKER_03Oh who?
SPEAKER_06Uh Will Haywood and Ollie Clorin. Give me fucking his name, but I really liked him. He was number 13. Yeah, Will Haywood, he was number nine. How do you know the name of the time? Justin Holly's crazy. Because I am actually a fan.
SPEAKER_04Where did Danny Rauhaus go? No. He didn't play Play.
SPEAKER_02No, he didn't play Play.
SPEAKER_06Oh, he was on Interchange.
SPEAKER_04Did he get did he get like put down a bit?
SPEAKER_02Yeah, yeah.
SPEAKER_04He's just struggling for form.
SPEAKER_02Really? Because he had that one game. Yeah, but we were there. Where he scored like five fucking goals or something.
SPEAKER_04Yeah, he did. Oh, but then like was he kind of struggling after that?
SPEAKER_06What's his name? Malcolm.
SPEAKER_04Malcolm Roses Jr. Great note.
SPEAKER_06Nah, he's I feel like he's drives wrong.
SPEAKER_04Drive strong, excuse me.
SPEAKER_06Excuse me, please. He's very good, like when he's good, but he wasn't consistently good. But he was a cockloves of the FL and it really whips him back into shape because who was our other guy that went? Um Hayden McLean?
SPEAKER_05No, the old guy, remember? Who was our old guy who went?
SPEAKER_06Yeah, Cunningham went.
SPEAKER_05No, no, no, the old guy. Uh our player who had been with us for ages, but he was quite old. He doesn't play for him. Harry Cunningham. No. What are you talking about? Keep saying another name. No. Wasn't he a naughty name?
SPEAKER_06You give us like any more contacts.
SPEAKER_03Dane's never been in.
SPEAKER_05No, I know it was not Dane Rampy. No, he had a pointy face. Like I would say I would say a handsome face-ish.
SPEAKER_06And wait, does he play now?
SPEAKER_05No, it doesn't play now. Too old. But it was almost he was a naughty boy. Was he walled? He was in trouble. No, he had hair.
SPEAKER_03Oh no, no, he's playing for North Melbourne now.
SPEAKER_05You're thinking of um Yeah, but I've explained it sufficiently.
SPEAKER_03Yeah, what's your reading?
SPEAKER_05Oh well I've said I've explained it sufficiently so that dad knows who I'm talking about.
SPEAKER_04Oh please, please, please. Just like anyone, bro. My parents died.
SPEAKER_05No, um, Swan's players emotional after beating North Melbourne. Fans leave before men's game. Oh. Right. That's really dude. Just to dare you down.
SPEAKER_03That was a little bit, wasn't it?
SPEAKER_06What's the little thing on the top of your phone case?
SPEAKER_05To um open this bit here? Yeah. To open the it the case clicks together, so it's uh open the case.
SPEAKER_03I thought it was a microphone jack, like an old microphone jack.
SPEAKER_04I wonder how many people went into the men's game.
SPEAKER_0530,000.
SPEAKER_0413? 13.
SPEAKER_0530,058, it said. What is the motto of the scout movement? Bip bop bat, isn't it? No. Bing bong bing bong bing. What do they do? They do something like that.
SPEAKER_04To serve, protect, and explore. Is that what it is?
SPEAKER_05That's um, that's a star. That's Star Trek. That's America. Does anybody know Scouts? America.
SPEAKER_03Oh. And dip dip doub.
SPEAKER_05That's what that's what I was trying to do. Bing bong bing.
SPEAKER_03What's the motto?
SPEAKER_06That's not my motto. What are you saying? Oh my god.
SPEAKER_05For people listening, I'm also holding three fingers to my head.
SPEAKER_06You look like Catus Everden at the repeat.
SPEAKER_05Be prepared. Oh, is that Katnis Everden?
SPEAKER_06Three fingers! Why have you got a count? Because I was doing monkey magic.
SPEAKER_05Dad got it. True or false? Most lizards cannot run and breathe at the same time. I think that's true. How lizard can run? I think it's true. I'm saying it's true. It's true. Who is the only swimmer to have held every long course world record, freestyle record from 100 to 1500? Michael Phelps. Simultaneously, it's probably Michael.
